Callahan Vehicle Photos Privacy Policy

Purpose and operator

Callahan Auto Parts operates Callahan Vehicle Photos as a camera companion for authorized company vehicle-photo workflows. Installing the app does not grant access to inventory. A secure Callahan vehicle form authorizes each capture session and its destination.

Information the app uses

The app accesses the rear camera when you open a capture session and grant camera permission. It processes the photographs you take, capture times, photo references, vehicle and session references, upload status, and app version. A randomly generated installation identifier is used to bind and secure mobile sessions. The app does not infer the photographer's identity from a vehicle link.

Photos may contain visible vehicle identifiers, people, or other personal information. Only photograph material appropriate to the work. The app does not request access to your microphone, contacts, location, or existing photo library. It does not include advertisements or advertising tracking.

How information is used and processed

Callahan uses this information to capture vehicle photos, recover interrupted transfers, display photo and upload status, deliver pictures to their intended inventory records, and operate and secure the service. Uploading to Callahan's service starts after capture when connectivity is available. Selecting Upload to Monday on the website requests the separate transfer to the inventory board.

Hostinger hosts the workflow service, Shopify provides photo storage for the vehicle form, and Monday.com receives photos requested through the website's transfer step. Authorized company users can view destination records according to company access controls. These services receive information needed to process the workflow, and hosting infrastructure may retain connection information and operational or error logs.

Temporary phone storage

Pending photos are kept in the app's private storage so interrupted uploads can recover. After Shopify confirms a saved file and the app durably records that confirmation, the app deletes its local image files. Interrupted cleanup can be retried. Upload records may remain after the image files are deleted. Small early previews are held temporarily in memory for returning to the vehicle form.

Photos that have not been confirmed saved remain available for retry unless removed or app data is cleared. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage can destroy those pending photos. The app disables Android cloud backup of its private photo queue.

Server retention and deletion

Link expiration does not itself delete a photograph. Server copies and workflow records are retained as needed to complete transfers, support recovery, and maintain authorized company records. Staged files may be removed by the service's cleanup process after verified transfer. Monday.com attachments remain until deleted or handled under company retention rules. Service logs and backups may have separate retention periods.

The vehicle form lets authorized users remove photos from that form, including photos already transferred. Removing a photo from the form does not delete an existing Monday.com attachment; that attachment must be removed separately in Monday.com. Deletion from an active record does not necessarily erase service logs or backup copies at the same time.

Your choices and security

You can decline or revoke camera permission, which prevents capture. You can stop using the app or request access to or deletion of relevant information by contacting Callahan below. The app does not create a separate personal account. Uninstalling stops future app activity but does not delete previously stored server records.

The app uses encrypted network connections. Shopify and Monday.com administrative credentials are kept on the service, not embedded in the mobile app. Keep secure vehicle links private. No system can guarantee complete security.
